| Description/Remarks | The centre of the bark is divided into two panels ornamented with diamond- shaped pattern in red, yellow, black and white ochres. For the Warramirri people, the closed diamond pattern represents earth and the open pattern represents flowing water. Long-necked tortoise heads (painted solid black with white detailing) face outwards and fringe each end of the bark, on a fine rarrk ground. |
